On September 20th, 2014 Brock University saw over 20 fencing alumni return to visit and challenge the current varsity team in the annual Rusty Blade Challenge. Taking place during the Brock University homecoming, many of the alumni toured the campus and bumped into long lost friends from their university days.
After the event the old and new Badgers headed to Cats Caboose to relive stories of their time on the team.
With the generous donations of many of our alumni the team will be establishing fencing bursaries. More details on this development will be posted as soon as they can.
We’ve taken loads of photos: 2014 Rusty Blade Photos
For those alumni who indicated they’d like to make an online donation, you can do so via the Adopt-A-Badger forms. All donations are tax deductible and 100% of the funds go to Brock fencing. We’ll direct the money to the establishment of the bursaries.
T-shirts are still available. Email coach@brockfencing.com to order yours $10 ea. Show your Brock Fencing pride!
